The owner of Vintage Veterinary Hospital in Excelsior Springs, MO needed a trustworthy, knowledgeable roofing company that could install a new TPO roof (also known as flat roofing) on his facility. There were some specific challenges associated with the project, as the entire roof was covered in solar panels which needed to be removed before the roof could be replaced.

We replaced the old roof with GAF Everguard 60mil TPO roofing in white and coordinated with the solar company to remove the panels before the work began and to re-install them immediately after the project’s completion. This meant the veterinary clinic was able to maximize energy savings from their solar arrays during the project.
The budget included a sacrificial layer of TPO under the solar panels to protect the primary membrane from damage that could occur over time due to panels shifting and rubbing the membrane. This extra layer allowed us to maximize the GAF warranty.
Quick Turnaround and Minimal Disruption to Excelsior Springs Clients
Throughout the process, we kept our equipment and dumpsters at the back of the building away from the parking lot and entrance so that no debris fell on clinic visitors and no nails or other sharp objects found their way into the parking lot. At the conclusion, the business owner was ecstatic that we completed the project in a few days, which meant there was virtually no disruption to this busy clinic’s day-to-day operations.
